Sleeping Dogs was much better overall than GTA IV. The only GTA that I prefer over SD is San Andreas but that game packed a load of content in to the point where I could have fun just driving from one island to another and flying to the third in a Jet without touching a single mission.

My only complaint is that it lacks the content of a GTA game but the combat, story, characters, gunplay and missions are miles better in SDs.
