That actually sounds really awesome! I'm a big fan of survival and exploring-focused games. I'll wait for a steam sale. |
the game is awesome. though just a heads up, it isnt fully open world. its more like the batman games where u can go back to the levels you were at. the tombs are fun to explore where u have to solve puzzles and stuff but from what i experienced the explorations isnt the best in video games. just out some gameplay see if you like it. but i personally recommend it

Don't hold your breath for a GOTY edition as Square doesn't really do that, but I can be wrong.

It is much closer to Uncharted than to Tomb Raider, though. Sure, you technically do have tombs in the game, but each tomb only consists of one room with one small puzzle (~10 minutes per tomb). Absolutely not comparable to previous Tomb Raider games. However, you still get to see beautiful temples (albeit without any hard puzzles) and have a pretty big world to explore.
Gameplay: Uncharted
Story: Tomb Raider
I'm fine with this, since both parts turned out fantastic^^

That's a shame - I'm a man who loves me some puzzles

Games can and should tell stories and share ideas through their mechanics. This is the intrinsic element of the medium and this is how experiences should be crafted in video games. No company does this as well as Nintendo and their echoes from the past.

I don't think they ever did for Just Cause 2 and it don't look like they've released any proper DLC for it yet. Just character costumes
Xbox Series, PS5 and Switch (+ Many Retro Consoles)

Prediction: Switch 2 will outsell the PS5 by 2030
I liked the atmosphere, the semi open nature to the enviorments, the bow is fun to use and the game is gorgeous. I had fun while playing it but there are alot of things that didnt work.
Boring and unlikable characters that i never cared about at all, the weapon upgrades felt unnecessary, extreme amounts of handholding, Lara's transformation is laughable, journals everywhere to fill out the bland story.
I thought is was a good game but thats it
I loved it as well, if they can just throw in some larger, more complex tombs in the next game it'll probably be a 10/10
I like it a lot too but too bad this game doesn't have any replay value at all once you complete it...
