How do you figure? What does the WiiU have besides Mario Kart and Smash Bros? You can't have a great year in Japan with only two major games. It needs a steady stream of releases like the 3DS or to a lesser extent, the Vita. The WiiU is only doing about 8k per week in Japan, and that's with Donkey Kong already out. It'll get a nice boost for Mario Kart and Smash Bros but it's not going to have a big year. Not even the 3DS is looking to have a great year considering how much it's down YOY in Japan. 

Lol yeah I have to bring this up but Vita>3DS 2014 software. Obviously its all down to ones opinion but it seems Vita is receiving many more games this year than 3DS, in fact Nintendo have a very quiet year all over from a quantity side of things. Best hope quality and popularity is high

I can't stop laughing at Mario Party's success. All the angry haters. It's surpassed that stupid paid demo, I wonder if it'll stay above it. I might die of laughter if it got another 18 point day and got to 3rd or even 2nd place. But it won't. Good run, Mario Party, good run. If Mario Kart can stay in the charts just one more day, it'll be on permanently. So glad to finally see it.

I saw that 7 next to Idolmaster and got super excited for a second thinking it belonged to J-Stars. I want that game to succeed so much. But hey, the original Pokemon had a terrible opening week in Japan, and it went on to be Japan's best selling game of all time. So, you know...maybe J-Stars will have some nice legs? Maybe get localized here in the US? Maybe? Please?

I think that's exactly how PS4 fans feel about Knack. 

Natural Doctrine, a big maybe. The game isn't doing well on Amazon and the delays aren't doing any good to it.

And a big NOPE for Freedom Wars which as far as I know isn't up for pre-orders yet.

lol what? Sure, hyrule warriors, bayonetta 2, yoshi, X, possibly zelda... are totally irrelevant.

Please tell me which of those games besides Hyrule Warriors have a release date for 2014. 

EDIT: I just checked and Bayo2 is set for 2014. With the original doing 210k on the PS3 in Japan, I don't expect anything from this. But even if it was a more major title, that's still only 4 games which is nowhere near enough to have a good year. 

So no one wants J-Stars, right?

idk both games just recently gotten release dates. 

Freedom Wars got its release date today, publishers commonly open the pre-orders when they reveal the release date. I guess it'll be the case in the next few days.
