Thanks, I went to look for the COMG numbers for you but I only had access to the old thread and the updates were not very consistant. I can tell you that with 8 days left, Gundam Musou 3 had 236pts and was moving quickly (it added 27pts that day). Unfortunately the thread doesn't say how many it had when it released and it isn't old enough for either of the first two games.
By comparison, Shin Gundam Musou with 8 days left had 95pts for PS3 and 17pt for Vita for a total of 112pts
Also I think I might be beginning to agree with you on the Vita target - I'd assumed that Kidou Senshi was PS3/V multiplat when it was in fact Vita exclusive, so it should always have done well without a 2nd SKU to steal its sales. With this, I agree that 150k is optimistic. I still think 100k is on the cards though LTD. Thanks for your figures, I hope this helps

Thanks. It seems that Shin Gundam Musou does seem to be performing quite badly compared to the previous game. And again i do think this is due to the points i mentioned above. 100k for Vita does still seem unachievable to me. Maybe 90k lifetime but no more than that. PS3 target seems more realistic but even then when we look at the way this game is tracking on COMG compared to GM3 it seems that even 300k maybe a struggle for the new game. I do think that Bandai have really got their targets wrong here and i'll be surprised if they hit them at all. Especially Vita.
The game should get localised though despite the fact it won't do as well as the other games in Japan. Maybe not the Vita version though.

Even though the sellthrough figures we've just had are OK, I expect a decline as well, and the Vita version will sell alright but will still be only a modest success. I've had a think about FWs, and I think I'll say 150k for PS3 and 60k for PSV. That's a little lower than my gut is telling me but I've been too optimistic recently with other games so I go with these predictions. LTD, who knows? I doubt it'll be very leggy though, musou games usually aren't
