Interesting to see people still pre-ordering the FFX twin pack, I though it was sold out on amazon (not that that is much of an indicator in itself). Otherwise a reasonable day, interesting to see what turns up in a week's time (8 new games)

I wouldn't worry too much about Zelda, given that it's on Japan's strongest platform and combines an established IP with a new type of gameplay to keep things fresh, as well as being top down. It may not break 1m, but will fall in the same ballpark as Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks, and will do well in the west. If they eventually bring Zelda to WiiU though, that may not be the case...
As for everything else flopping, it's mostly games that are fairly iterative sequels to what have gone before (with the exception of SM3DW, which suffered from WiiUitis unfortunately). Hopefully PS4 refreshes things a bit and brings new success for games generally in Japan

Hell no it wont follow! It looks like it'll surpass Spirit Tracks with ease (i hope)
Spirit tracks coincidencly released on Dec 26th o.O anyway FW sales are 308k and second week was 121k with lifetime sales around 740k! Lets hope it'lll beat that! US its doing well, under a week digital sales are over 70k!

The price on FFX/X-2 for Vita was corrected by you or reconsidered by SQ-Enix?

I don't know how to quote twice in the same post so reply to both you and Kungfucious:
I do think this Zelda game has the platform to outdo its handheld predecessors because the 2D Zelda games remain the highest selling in Japan. I do hope it cracks a million, been a while since that happened in Japan! It's still quite low here though which is disappointing.

Bear in mind, that at least Spirit Tracks got to those levels due to large shipments which led to extensive discounting. Spirit Tracks took 3 months to sell through its initial shipment. I feel like a similar thing happened with PH, but I can't find a reliable sell through percentage. Some site posted 350k first week/400k shipment, and others reference that, but considering neither Famitsu or Media Create were 350k first week I am taking those numbers with a grain of salt.

Vgchartz has both DS games at roughly 300k FW in Japan if that helps you, I'm still on the fence as to whether it'll do better or worse, on the one hand Zelda is less popular of late in Japan but then as a handheld, older style entry it may do better than Twilight Princess or Skyward Sword and stop the decline
