Consider this. For Media create 2017 The Vita got a whopping 245 games, while the NSW only got 52. So in all, the Vita should have had 5 times as many games to chart as the Switch.

Also for Media Create 2017 the Vita sold 1.967.023 games, while the NSW sold a whopping 7.328.882 games.

We are now in 2019 of course, so the Vita should have less games than the NSW. But even if it has more, it won't amount to much as seen from 2017.

Kinda weird reflecting back to 2017 with all of this considered. Really shows that while the Vita had a lot of games, the handheld itself struggled to get much momentum going like the Wii U. Bad enough that it's big library of games in 2017 couldn't even match the sales of the 2017 library of the Switch, a new console with a lot to prove at the time. Now, the Switch has the majority of the mindshare in Japan for all consoles and handhelds.

To be fair alot of those Vita games would sell low numbers regardless of how healthy the platform was. It got an assload of visual novels and otaku games that often only sell a few thousand or less.

KH3 hype!

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

I knew it was going to happen, but I had to face my fears. DMC5's streak stopped at 4. Dammit!
