This is why it's kinda hilarious to me when I hear "Monster Hunter World is doing great."

It seems like we need that MH Handheld game. 

You already got it.  Ps4 is getting the next one in Japan. And it's looking a massive step up so I reckon it will be the best selling home console MH ever!

Tbh I would rather see how Kiwami 2 is fairing against the original Kiwami.

This is why it's kinda hilarious to me when I hear "Monster Hunter World is doing great."

It's more like "Monster Hunter is doing better than we expected", because there were a lot of very low predictions that steemed from its initial announcement. That combined with PS4 should get a much better ratio, people have reason to be optimistic on it. No one thinks it's doing anything close to MH4 or MHX. You have people that are still predicting <1m lifetime.

Monster hunter world is doing great for a home console MH title, to be honestly,I won't expect any 3ds or psp level for it. and I want to remind,DQ11 got much lower points than DQ9 and DQ8 on comg but it had a very great ratio on media create, I believe that MHW might be the best selling home console MH in Japan.

Not like that's a high bar to top. The best selling home console Monster Hunter game in Japan only sold 1 million in Japan.

With it releasing on 3 different platforms, I'd like to think it would sell more than 2 million worldwide considering the sales this franchise has. I think it's pretty much in the bag, I mean 2-2.5 million would be considered a flop for a main series Monster Hunter game. Tri had the 3DS version to fall back on, and as of now at least, World doesn't have something to fall back on.

Which is still good in my opinion,MHW is set for the "world" not only for Japanese. over 1 million and to be the best selling home console MH title is still something.
