Splatoon doesnt need Advertisement. Announced it, show a trailer and thats it. As Boutros said, the people need more switches and not a direct. It will sell so or so. Its a great game.

I wonder how much higher Splatoon 2 can actually go

Dragon Quest is starting to pick up as it gets closer to release, which is a very good thing!

With the Direct, Splatoon 2 should be able to crack 800 points, maybe 850.
Very strong finish for it overall, but still a shame since it could've been a lot higher if it had a bigger install base and a properly stocked system to work with. But given the circumstances, it's very impressive.

Even with the direct coming I just think there aren't enough physical systems in existence for Splatoon 2 to get to 1000pts and achieve it's full potential first week sales wise, it's legs will most likely be one of the best of any game in Japan this gen, especially long and continued support of free DLC even over a year after it's release.

Splatoon 2 has a shot at becoming the best selling Nintendo Switch game in Japan as early as its launch to be honest!
Mario Kart and Zelda are both around the 550k range (not including digital of course), it can beat that!
