You think a mainline DQ will sell lower than a mainline FF on a console? I mean yeah 3DS will "absorb" some sales ... but I think its atleast gonna surpass XVs first week. Guess we will see what will happen.

I am not making any official predictions yet, but the price and existence of 3DS and Switch versions are big problems for the DQXI PS4 to beat a practical exclusive like FFXV.

Why does the existence of the ps4 and 3DS versions have to be bad for the ps4?

Why isn't it the existence of the 3DS and ps4 versions bad for the Switch version?

3DS is on by far the biggest Nintendo fanbase so will eat a lot of sales. Many DQ fans on ps4 thanks to builders and heroes 1/2 will get the ultimate version of DQ11 on ps4 or ps4 pro long before the switch edition is out.

I just don't see the doom and gloom for the ps4. The hardcore DQ fans are on that platform because that's where the new games have been lately.

DS have DQ 4, 5, 6, 9, Monster Joker 1, 2, Rocket Slime 2
3DS have DQ 7, 8, 10, Monster Joker 3, Monsters 1, 2, Rocket Slime 3


PS4 have DQH 1, 2, DQB.

PS4 have 4 million on the base. 3DS have 22 million on the base. Where is the DQ fans?
