When's the last time 19/20 titles were Playstation on comg? Crazy times!
Another good day for RE7. If it keeps this up the 200k+ opening I'm hoping for will be no problem.

It is not really similar to XV. For FFXV, SE hoped for a decent launch and expected it to do well, which it seems to have done okay so far. Even hoping it to do as well as FFXIII or better, but profit margin is very complicated with the long development time. For RE7, Capcom expects a major decline compared to RE6. And as long as it meets those low projections, then it will be profitable for Capcom. Short development time and lower budget. |
That´s not what I´m referring to. I simply referred to it being very different compared to the last entry and the first main entry in the series this generation.
But for SE we don´t really know yet what their expectations really are for XV itself, like you said due to the long time cooking it´s not easy to tell what their goal really is.
GG RE7 and KH!
Jesus that's a lot of points for team red.
Great day for Kingdom Hearts 2.8 and Super Robot Wars V!
Stop saying good for RE, its doing terrible.
Big day for kingdom hearts;)

It's effectively a new Ip and it's doing great.

Thats just factually wrong. Its the same nonsense of saying that RE 4 was a new IP compared to other RE games or that FF XV is a new IP.Its just a bad excuse.
RE 7 is not doing horrible, since its doing new things and after RE 6, it has alot to prove, but its not doing good either.
My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.
