Forums - Sales - COMG! Japan Pre-order Chart Thread - Daily updates!

Good to see solid numbers all round. I think Pokemon should make it to around 3000 combined, maybe 2600. Not great, but with a WW launch we should see some major figures.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

It's like the biggest mobile game in the world right now, or close to it.  It's supposedly raking in money like crazy on smart-phones.  It's supposed to be like Bejeweled glued to an RPG or something.  I guess Z is like a new version or something, not for certain.

I read those sentences and just couldnt believe it so i just had to search it up for myself and holy shit you werent kidding...

that was back in feb 2013

this one may 2013

also its been downloaded by 13 million people in japan roughly 10 pct of the population and Gungho wants the 3DS version to sell a million copies in JP...seems like itll easily get those sales.

People are insane to spend that much money on a mobile game.

From the second article: "The company’s market capitalization also reached $15.1 billion. It has more money on hand than Nintendo ($15 billion), Electronic Arts ($6.7 billion), or Zynga ($2.6 billion). Toto also points out that GungHo has a higher market cap than Nikon, Fujitsu, or Mitsubishi Motors."

That's great for GungHo.  Hopefully it means they can make more games that I actually want to play.

i hope 3ds starts picking up! lets go xyz! lol

pokemon must have supply issue, this is tooooooo much a coincidence that they keep on pulling ties lmao. All other pokemon games had differences by a good margin.

More like ~ 30k.  Remember, sales from the weekly are normally around half of the points they get.

Pretty decent from everything in the weekly, really.  Warriors Orochi did well (although probably inflated); and Legend of Heroes did decently across two versions.  Even Zelda is higher than I thought it would be.

Boring daily though :(

On the face of it, it seems that way.

But again, why are COMG taking pre-orders if there are supply issues?  Surely they would've stopped them; then resumed when there weren't issues.  We've had a steady stream each day, which doesn't indicate supply issues; just low pre-orders.

The numbers match with what we've been told, anyway.  We were told 1 million a while ago, and now it's well past that (around 1.6m now?)
