Not good, Kupo!!

I honestly starting to believe FF XV will end with less points than XIII-2... But that's seem very low.

Will definitively have a better ratio, no way it sells only 500K, even only retail.

So went diving into the past and yeah, even with 4 months left and the others at a mere 2 months left, Sun & Moon still opened to half of XY and ORAS. Depending on how it goes today, it could get to the amount of points that XY and ORAS had 2 months before release, before the end of the week.

X/Y = 309 points 63 days left
OR/AS = 300 points 62 days left
Sun/Moon = 155 points 125 days left.

And kinda had gotten lost in the other post, 4 months, not 5 :P

Why is this surprising?  Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Pokémon X/Y and Monster Hunter 4 and even X (which only came out November 2015) have all outsold YW's best-selling game (Yo-Kai Watch 2: Ganso and Honke) in Japan.  YW's heyday was 2014; it'll still sell fantastically in Japan don't get me wrong, but its best days are in the rear-view mirror.

But, now you say this, yes it is. Since one was opened to pre-orders and the other was actually released.

Delighted to see besteria gets its much deserved day on the throne. King of the charts! It's performing really well. Hopefully it keeps putting in work!

Hope it atleast could end up above XIII-2 in points.

People don't even know the final evolution of the starters, just saying... the pre orders so far are really strong, it did way better than i expect. (i honestly though was gonna have less than 100 points).

And keep in mind that, just like all the recent games here (Yokai Watch, Kirby, Final Fantasy), Pokémon moon and Sun should easy have a better ratio sales/point than Y/X and ORAS, and of course will have bigger digital sales.

Honestly i though that Pokémon Moon and Sun was gonna sell less than X/Y in Japan and more in the west, but now i starting to believe it can sell more even in Japan...

Worldwide too, i really starting to think Pokémon Moon and Sun can sell close to Diamond and Pearl. But i wanna be conservate, and i still go with my 16 million prediction, about the same of what X/Y will sell.

Pokemon go rumored for end of july release in japan. We can see if Go helps SuMo out
