By the way, how long will Final Fantasy XV stay at the top before Pokémon Sun/Moon reaches it?

Probably depends on what Kingsglaive and promotion from SE can do. I hope for the best for both Pokemon and FF :p

Tales of Berseria keeps exceeding my expectations personally. Both versions are doing good.

Pokémon X and Y first day of pre orders - 309 points

Pokémon ORAS first day of pre orders - 300 points

Currently Final Fantasy pre orders - 173 points

Huum...one day?

I guess people remembered that Yokai Flop was launching. People probably know that Final Floptasy is launching, that's why they're not bothering to pre-order it because they don't want it.

I hope Toukiden isn't a disaster. SCEJ made such a fuss about the first one, would be a shame to see the IP fritter out like this. Good for everything else though!

I'm sure that Advent Children gave a lot of profit since it sold 5+ Millions of units. Spirit Within that was a big failure and one of the biggest failures of the movie industry.

Thing is we don`t exactly how much AC did cost them (unless we know and I don`t, would be nice if you would clear that up then :p) so it`s hard to say if it just gave them a return of money or a proper profit.

I mean they must have a reason to not do another movie for that long if AC really made them much money ... if that makes sense. And XIII for example had sooo much hype behind I bet a movie would`ve done well aswell for that as an example. Well only if they would`ve done it similiar to XV is doing it now.

Movies are risk to make, maybe they just chose to make games instead. Final Fantasy XV will be the second Final Fantasy to have a movie, despite having a lot of successful titles neither of the other Final Fantasy games (with exception of the 7) got a Movie.

I don't think that the movie costed much for Square (Final Fantasy 7 Advent Children) because the Movie was a top seller on Japan, they would not make a Movie expecting to surpass the max of the market. Final Fantasy XV's movie is probably part of the marketing Budget.

If Final Fantasy XV flop this hard on Japan, Square Enix will start to add COD elements on Final Fantasy to  sell it for the west.

Some parts of the movie were to be in-game CGIs. They just couldn't fit everything in one blu-ray disc. So they decided to produce a movie.

SuMo Preorders coming soon rigjt?
