In terms of COMG, games that perform well that we were expecting to perform well are kind of boring to be.  At least after the initial phase of "omg Vita version is doing better", it's just another "big" game on the charts.  I like when smaller, nicher things surpass expectations.

As a game, it just wasn't for me.  I bought it in the hope that it was a more story-focused Monster Hunter.  Which it is, but I still found it incredibly dull, and the least enjoyable PSP game I've bought so far.  I think this genre just isn't for me.

With the news that XSeed is going to be doing Trails SC, I have a small hope they'll start bringing over more of the series again.

disagree. Pokemon XY had 260k pre orders in japan first 2 days opened up alone, if you add US 250-300k thats 560k and Europe (im guessing) 100k+ 40k rest of the world you have at least 700k. I think US Numbers sre undertracked on pre orders, You think japan has just 500k-600k then?

Almost certain it is Japan only.  Nintendo doesn't often give pre-order numbers and even more rarely is it anything but Japan.  You'll usually only get US pre-order figures from the US office.

COMG Pokemon preorders = 1369

Masuda's Pokemon preorders = 1,000,000.

Using the usual 1 point = 1k pre-orders point that we use as a general rule around here:

1369 * 1000 = 1,369,000

I'm not sure I understand what's being argued here.

If Pokémon pre-orders have reached 1m then the ratio would be 1pt/730. Black/White ended with a ratio of 1/823. So yeah, if COMG is anything to go by then 1m isn't very hard to imagine.
