Is it expected to under perform majorly to the previous kirby? Not looking good so far 

Not many guys expect Robot planet to beat Triple Delux.

Triple Delux sold 215,000 first week, if this trend remain the same and the points ratio is the same, Planet Robot will be lucky with 150,000.

After 16 days we're going to have a while until release for stuff. I expect May to be pretty dead.

The only big movement I forsee is Yo-Kai Watch 3 shooting up the charts whenever the pre-orders open (which I heard could be this weekend IIRC).

4 3DS games will probably be at the top if P&D takes off. YW3, YW3, P&D, P&D.

Oh dang! The 3DS sure loves getting 2 versions of their games.
