It seems that we have a Puzzles and Dragons Z situation(Expected and I declared  it for the first time when it showed up in the chart and with 15p,which happened in the same day with the pre-orders opening  dear,so it's obvious that it will be huge) and not at random...

Monster strike is an extremely popular Japanese mobile game(which resembles a lot to PAD,which alos became the highest grossing Japanese app in 2014,surpassing PAD)which is coming to 3DS enriched whith rpg elements(just like PADZ)!

PAD with similar release time frame ended up with more than 500p,sold more than 500k in  its FW,and it's lifetime to date sales are 1.7-1.8m(all these are approximate,I'm too bored to search the exact figures) so expect  something in that extend(maybe more given the fact that 3DS installbase is way bigger than the time when PADZ was released.)  However, bigger instalbase doesn't always imply more sales,I mean  a game can sell the same numbers on a 10m IB with a 20m IB,or it can sell more on the 10m ib than in the 20m or even way bigger IB(like the decaple IB),essentially,it depends on how many people of  any console ib are willing and buy the game,the attach rate,,a very important thing,which is not just a  simple number which just fluctuates depending upon the size of installbase,it's again related to the  precentage of the owners of any console who purchase the game,low installbase/ high sales and by extension high attach rate,is not only because of  the small size of the installbase and the sales  that are high(so it's not selling accordingly but beyond the  expectations based to the size of IB), it's also owing to the fact that this proportion/amount of people from the IB bought the game,!:P

The anime should be finished airing by then, though, and I don't (want to) think that the doujin circles will do more than they already are producing.

The 3DS this year had sooooo many great sellers. I think the 3DS is the only hardware that had games came out this year which sold 1mil+ in Japan?
