The jump for Super Mario Maker was expected if you have been keeping close attention to Amazon Japan.
I suspect the shift has to do with some recent advertisements, and the fact that it is so close to release now.

It's possible it will pull a Super Mario 3D world and gain all of its pre-orders the week before it releases.
