It's funny how God Eater preorders have just stopped. And Jesus Pokemon! More than 500 points in 3 days, that's just insane!

UPDATE: Pokemon X/Y still has 14 days to gather points intill b/w is a day to day comparison, to keep a note of when b/w comes, numbers will catchup to x/y's due to the first week pre order affect :p

Well two potential million sellers (in Japan) it's releasing next year are DQ:M2 and Smash Bros. They also have Zelda and Mario Golf alongisde a lot of announcements. Wouldn't be surprised if Pokemon Z/MH4G are announced soon, possibly another Rhytm Heaven, new IP, DQ, etc.. As big as its 2013 lineup has been  I think it will hold up well next year.

DQ should come next year to japan, also Its a 1 capcom and 1 nintendo game! But next year SSB for 3DS should do very nicely in japan. Also pokemon Z will come 2015 and remakes following year, MH most likely wont have another title intill 2015 unless maybe a vita/wiiu game? So much 3DS games for the japanese crowds!

i said that, i kno b/w first days will jump up very high!!! Also It had a much higher install base + the fact that there are 4 bundles and digital sales this time around! If Pokemon X/Y do great on this alone its a wrap!

Not really.  There are nearly 100 days until release, with a lot of games much closer.  Long pre-orders are going to show a pronounced inverted bell curve.

i dont think he meant it that way, its true for a game over a month away to not get any points especially on Monday(slowest day of the week). He meant as soon as pokemon rolled in GE2 sales just stop, it was doinfg very respectable numbers intill pokemon came in, even on a sunday just the psp version got 1 point while vita has 0 points two days in a row! Anyway GE2 will be #1+#2 on charts as soon as pokemon is released! So everyone gets a turn :P

A lot of software originally planned for this fall like Mario Golf got moved to 2014 to avoid the double whammy this year.

In 2014 we'll be seeing the following in Japan

-Mario Golf

-LoZ ALBP

-Pokemon Z or 3rd gen remake

-Yoshi's 3DS (moved back to coincide with Year of Yoshi?)

-Super Smash Bros on a handheld for the 1st time

-Monolith's 3DS game

For 1st party titles so far. Not to mention the 3rd party titles like which will try to make sure of the growth in install base after Pokemon and MH. 2014 might also be the year where Nintendo might release the 3rd 3DS revision. An OG 3DS revision has been long overdue.

Not to mention that we're not even sure if PS4 (and XOne) is going to be launching this year in Japan anyways.

i agree with your list but pokemon wont come next year, i say earliest is 2015 summer time, Weither it be Z or R/S remakes
