Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

We'll see, like i pointed out in that prediction thread, DQ isnt as big in the west. With only a few exceptions DQ games of course. Like i said to Out, its not impossible. Still plenty of time^

But Dynasty Warriors games easily sell 250k+ in NA so that's the very lowest DQH will do.

Honestly I'm expecting Dragon Quest: Heroes to sell as much in the West as it will sell in Japan.

I think 1.5m lifetime is a lock.


Thats pretty damn bold, especially with only ps4 as a western release vs japan thats multiplat. But its your prediction! Its not impossible at all...

That said you might want to take that statement back, unless you have a source DW3+DW4 are the only games to crack 250k+ in NoA (both did over 500k) with the next highest being DW5 with barely missing 250k. Those games are 10+ years old, but DW7 did do close to 250k according to vgc on ps3 so who knows!

As of Now i think it'll be like this... (minimum + maximum)

NoA: 100k-250k

Europe: 60k-150k

Japan: 700k-1mil

Worldwide: 900k-1.5mil (this includes everywhere else)

Dynasty Warriors 3 - 450k
Dynasty Warriors 4 - 580k
Dynasty Warriors 5 - 300k
Dynasty Warriors 6 - 220k after 10 months

Dragon quest heroes is a dragon quest game so you can't compare it with Dynasty Warriors

There is still 1 important factor missing here, unlike LoZ, DQ isnt actually huge in the US. How many of those 250k-400k DW fans are DQ fans and how many of the 200k-400k of the DQ fans are DW fans? LoZ is Huge in the US thus given it Huge sales despite being a spinoff.

All im saying is DQ Mainlines arent big in the US. Unless im missing something, The best DQ games of all time here in NoA sold 500k+600k. DQ Heroes is still a spin off of a smaller franchise (in the west).

How much did One Piece do here btw? 150k?

I can't be sure but I think however unpopular Dragon Quest is in the West it's still more popular than Dynasty Warriors. I mean Square-Enix hasn't really given much a chance for the Dragon Quest series to grow lately but I think Dragon Quest: Heroes will appeal to both the Dynasty Warriors fanbase and the Dragon Quest fanbase.

Only digital for One Piece in NA.
