I just find funny that he says that why should one give a shit about the same franchies that have high profile on the chart, yet Dragon Quest Heroes is something different. I wonder if he would also give a shit when MH was breaking all records on the PSP.

The first game on 3DS has sold 1.48m in Japan!It is also on ios & android,and it has grossed billions!I have read that the 10% of the Japanese population is playing it!

Now,it is super mario bros themed,so you decide!For me will be huge and a super system seller,1.48m old 3ds owners have it!A lot of them haven't new3ds/xl,I guess an immense amount of them would like to buy new3ds/xl for that and let's not forgetting,it has mario on it.;)

3ds in japan is doing so well i doubt any games will significantly shift the baseline. but yeah it looks a big title to me. when will pre orders open? because it should shoot up the charts on comg yeah?

Not really. It only sold over 1 million on the 3DS 2 years ago, and a really huge franchise on smartphones in Japan. It'll bomb, trust me.
