Not worth its own thread I feel, so I'll put it here:

Grand Theft Auto V is the first CERO Z (18+) rated foreign title to reach 1 million copies sold in Japan. Munetatsu is an editor for Weekly Famitsu so this is most probably Famitsu's data.



Looks like we can add GTA VI to the list of games that will really move PS4s in Japan (when it comes in 2018 or whatever )

Seriously, how is this game THIS popular?? I mean look at past GTA games and nobody would have seen this coming. Sales everywhere around the world are breaking records O_O

Seriously, how is this game THIS popular?? I mean look at past GTA games and nobody would have seen this coming. Sales everywhere around the world are breaking records O_O

Who the hell knows, I'd really love it if someone could explain the growth between this and GTA IV, an growth of almost 100% on the PS3 is absolutely crazy (and just another indicator that this whole "console gaming is dying" notion that we had in the last couple years is really unsubstantial, but that's not for here ) for such an already huge franchise.
