How can people say that 3DS games would give us more points? Current 3DS games are getting even fewer points than the top 20. That's why they're not in the top 20. I mean, I can't even believe this needs to be explained XD.

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

The charts are depressing because the most successful system at the moment takes up only one slot of a possible 20. It's a reflection of the poor decision-making of the Japanese gaming industry. It looks like the mantra is "The future can be anything, except Nintendo.", so companies are switching between throwing games at mobile and keeping PlayStation alive.


Which is a good thing, 3DS had a good life

I'd assume that developing for the PS3/PS4/Vita ecosystem is a lot more than enticing than just 3DS.

Well not a surprise since that was also the week of GTAV for PS4, that also had a bundle, that should had obviously given the necessary boost of 2-3k needed to outsell the Wii U that week :v

~23k is still impressive, even with GTA5. Tha's far more than 2-3k boost.


I'm just saying it was bound to happen, even without the DQH bundle since that was also the week for GTAV for PS4 with a bundle. Yeah I know that :v I was just mentioning the difference of the PS4 numbers without the DQH bundle with the Wii U, which was just a small number, though the actual boost was obviously a bit bigger, it being of 15k going by Media Create.



COMG guide to points: 1 point = Raging. 2 points = Beasting. 3 points = Tearing it up. 4 points = Berzerk. 7 points = Rampage. 12 points = Burst. 15 points = god mode. 20+ points = DIVIDING BY ZERO!!! 40+ points = Youkai (originally Pokemon).

-1 = Negabeasting. -5= NegaRampage. -10 = NegaBurst

I'm pretty sure brand loyalty isn't taken into account at all when it comes to gaming business decisions. Surely there're more important factors at work here.
