Yeah, now that ps4 has games^ Everthing else will be down, maybe WiiU will be up in japan considering this year wasnt that good especially holiday.

Wii U will definitely be down because its already got its biggest games of Japan and worldwide this year. PS4 however will be up because its not got any of its big games yet.

Its not definite, if Nintendo does a price drop and do an actual value bundle similar to last year, WiiU 2015 will blow out 2014 holiday. As you have seen in japan, 2013>>>2014. Having the 2 biggest games with almost nothing else (price drops/good bundles/more games) will not bode well.

That said im not saying it'll be up, but that doesn't necessarily mean it'll go down. 3ds is a different story though. Also possibly AC and if ever which i doubt pokemon come to WiiU, i bet tbey'll do slightly better than SSB+MK.

Nintendo home consoles are just front loaded in Japan, the same thing happened with Wii, it peaked in 2007 with Mario Galaxy, Mario Party, Wii Fit, Dragon Quest Swords as some of its biggest games then sales went down slightly in 2008 with Mario Kart, Smash Bros, Animal Crossing releasing.

Wii U peaked in 2013 with Mario 3D World, Wii Party U, Wii Fit U, Dragon Quest X and sales are down in 2014 with Donkey Kong, Mario Kart, Smash Bros releasing.

A price cut, better bundles and more consistant release schedule will most likely just help minimize the decline.
