Because its YW2.5 and they want all the sales even if 600 people have to wait 2-10 days from release to get it :p
That does suck though. Some stores have large shipments but i read one major store only sold all their copies to pre order customers. This will be interesting and the game will sell huge for at least 2 months. After that it depends on when YW3 is announced.
Also just read that the movie coming out this week that broke the record for most pre ordered tickets, has now surpassed 1mil. That movie+this launch :0

Edit: YW2.5 has 2400p+ (2400 people pre ordered) and sold 1894p which doesn't make sense at all. They didn't get all of their copies in. And i thought SSB 3DS was bad (1066p and 1079 sold FW)

Bic Camera stores closed Youkai Watch 2 pre-orders around one month before its release. Yodobashi Camera and Tsutaya closed pre-orders around one week before its release. Comg never closed pre-orders snd kept accepting them.
Here the result. Not enough copies to cover pre-orders.

Yeah the movie should easily do over 10 million in its first weekend, maybe even 15. And it should have a great hold in the coming weeks. That's easy money for Level-5.
Seems rather bad for Smash WiiU when it's second week is not that higher from the 3DS version available for over 3 months.

YW will be very interesting to watc in the next 2-3 years. If it can be on the level on pokemon/DQ (by this im not only talking sales/merchandise but longevity) meaning if Level 5 not going to drive this into the ground.
As of now YW3 looks like a potential 5mil seller. YW2 sold 3mil with YW2.5 announced after 2-3 months after release (cutting legs, but only so much

Exactly, now 600 people have to wait. Crazy now you think about it. I wonder how sales will be in Jan/Feb. Im expecting all weeks to be over 50k each, maybe 40k..... Then YW3 announcement for a May Release :P

What? SSB 3DS sales are going up (holiday) and besides looking at its 310p-320p debut, 100p is a pretty good hold.
Also does anybody know if COMG had the Double Packfor SSB 3DS or was that select stores? Im not expecting much obviously but still...
