its not the same SW. 2 different games. Not arguing witb your points to deed, just saying its not the same game

I realize that their two different games but expecting Smash U to perform just as well as Brawl is madness ...

Smash for Wii U is performing unfathomably poorly 7 weeks from release. No other game has ever come back from such a poor start to have a strong finish in the history of COMG.

They should have called it Super Smash Floppers for Wii Doo....med.

Its not the fact of how much it sells, no matter how much it sells people will still say the exact same thing you have^

I mean lets say the game sells what? 700k-800k in japan (for wiiu). Does that mean if the 3ds version wasnt made the WiiU version would of sold 2mil+? 1.5mil+?

Im just tired of hearing "hurt the wiiu version" or worse "3ds version should have never existed". Its been like this for well over a year now.

The statement you made was because 2 people cancelled their pre orders.... 2 People in japan. Excluding COMG (12-15 stores) i heard SSBU been having a good headstart. ITS 40+ days away, can we wait on before jumping on the bandwagon?

It is a fact of how much it sells ... It's pretty clear that 3DS Smash is hurting Smash U.

NSMB2 didnt hurt NSMBU sales (Released under half a year apart) for example.

"@Bold Maybe the WII U version would have sold 1.5 mil+ if the 3DS version didn't exist or was released at a later date. The games are the most important aspect of a platform and making a game available for another platform gives no differentiation for the said platform the game was formerly exclusive to. "

No way in hell WiiU sales for SSB would double... I have to disagree with this :0

"Underlined No because for that time the 3DS version will be doing tons of potential damage on how the WII U version will perform ..."

That doesn't make sense, you need to wait instead of basing your theory on a -2 day on COMG.

Nothing new because everybody knows already. But GamesMaya says Youkai Watch 2 Shin Uchi had a high pace start, far better than the last entry.

sinobi said it had an overwhelming start. And he is expecting a battle between Pokemon and Youkai Watch 2 (just this version) the end of the year.

This afternoon I'm going to check the situation of new 3DS and MH4G stock problems in Shinjuku, Shibuya and Ikebukuro. They were both fully available yesterday. Let's see if they still are today.

its funny this is the complete opposite in the us...

Why don't we wait and see before making a premature statement ...

Exactly, why don't you wait and see before making premature statement.

NSMB2 and NSMBU are different games though ...

Maybe not double but it certainly would have had much less impact on the WII U version.

I'm not only basing off my argument on COMG but I also base it on the fact that Smash on 3DS IS competing against Smash U. They are the same games after all and you can't exactly ignore another compelling option that's vastly much cheaper ...

1.Yeah i kno so are SSB 3DS + SSBU. Just because they share many things in common doesn't mean its the same game. NSMB Wii and NSMB U have alot more in common thy both SSB games!

2. Yeah like no more than 300k-500k WW sales at best (depending on how much SSBU sells WW) which heavily make up for it having it as a seperate 3ds game :0

3. Its not competing more than Any other game in comparison. I mean MK7 vs MK8 or SM3DL vs SM3DW. I dont hear this from them or many other titles! Also If anything the 3ds version could help persuade getting the WiiU version for a couple of people.

The big battle this year is
Will Smash Wii U outsell Knack, I would of said yes but now Im not so sure
Do you think Smash can take Knack?

I guess two people just said fuck it and went to buy Smash 3DS instead. Nintendo should offer some sort of cross-buy feature where if you buy Smash on 3DS you can get the WiiU version for a reduced price. Should be able to convince a lot more people to double dip.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!
