A game that sells +300k can't be called niche. Niche is sub 100k.
have you seen my numbers? Dark Souls sold 361k copies in Japan, and Dark Souls II has sold 343k and the number is not final, since the game is recent, so probably still moving. Can you say the fanbase got burned because a 18k drop?? I don't think so.
The game was released at the end of the generation, when all games start selling less and less. That a surprising number for me.
