It's interesting, Japanese Pikmin 3 Direct has more views on YouTube already than 2nd Animal Crossing and Tomodachi Collection directs. Seems popular.

@pokoko, Well, Wii U sales will rise for sure that week. Pikmin 3, New Super Luigi U, Nintendo Land + Wii Remote Plus Bundles and Wii U Premium Console (White) all coming jul. 13. Nintendo actively pushing them all on TV.

Feel sorry for Youkai Watch, I think it will fail hard. At least not as much as Gyrozetter did.

I think the situation will be similar to Inazuma Eleven in some ways. I mean, first game sold poorly at the beginning, but once anime and manga hit the market and became popular, 2nd Inazuma Eleven game sold amazingly and series became big hit for Level 5.

Youkai Watch is third big Level 5 media franchise (games + manga + anime), but manga coming only in december 2013 and anime in january 2014, game itself not promoted heavily right now (compared even to first Inazuma), so I expect it to sell around 100, maybe 150K at max. And it's very interesting to see what happen when anime and manga arrives.

Well, that was a real nice Nintendo update! MonHun still going much stronger than I thought it would've been, good for it.

Maybe Pikmin will make it to ~100 after all. Hope it does, certainly deserves it, I'd love the series to get more recognition.

Not too hot for Youkai Watch though, had forgotten that was coming out. Level-5 can't seem to catch a break lately. Well, aside from Fantasy Life.

I think the prediction of PSP Toukiden doing more than Vita Toukiden will have been a long way off base. Even with COMG-hunting-games-inflation it seems a safe 100k FW too.
