I don't think that Mario Kart 7 vs 8 comparison chart constantly being posted is correct.  It's a day off for MK7...  I fixed it below, moving all the points up a day and added in the actual, final point total (and somewhat fixed the spacing.  That drove me nuts):

Well shit, that comparison chart update...there goes MK8's chances of beating 7. I did think something was off with those numbers. It was like 7 always got good numbers on Mondays. Still, MK8 might keep the lead for a week yet, if it's lucky. It only needs 4 points to do so, after all, so a point a day up to the weekend would be enough. After the weekend though, if MK8 isn't full throttle it's falling behind.
