I love how many characters in this thread just look like regular guys. Does Reggie count? I never experienced him until this gen.



     
Games can and should tell stories and share ideas through their mechanics. This is the intrinsic element of the medium and this is how experiences should be crafted in video games. No company does this as well as Nintendo and their echoes from the past.

How? It is a 2007 game that was bundled with Orange Box for PC/360/PS3.

Oooohhhhh - you're right.
It was just so long ago that I played portal that I assumed it was last gen - that was a long time ago!

3DS is 8th gen handhelds derp. Lucina and the KI:U characters shouldn't be on there lolz.

I'm breaking all the rules today apparently - there I fixed it. Now I have to wait 6 years to post those three characters.

Btw. do you also think the little girl is the ghost of the girl Hades mentioned in Chapter 10 (the one with the Phoenix)? She immediately disappears after we controler her after all...

Why thankyou - I'm a huge fan of the faceless hero in video games and in this gen the Kusagari did a better job of that then Samus herself!

I think that the little girl could very well be the the same one Hades was talking about. There's little in-game evidence, but it's a nice theory. I included her because the part where you control a little girl through a war-zone hit me hard.

War. What do I think of it? What do I know of it? I’m Canadian – I lived a sheltered life. I know nothing about it. That single minute of play had me view the situation from the point of view of a little girl, and had me thinking about war for a very long time after - and that is good game design.

hahhaha, it's all good. I just meant home consoles. I forgot all about handhelnds and the gen for them seems all over the palce.
