i thought this was established?

Didn't someone already make this thread a couple of hours ago?
Didn't you post in that thread pezus?
Why make another one?
That's the only sensible way to approach the situation. Internet standards world-wide are nowhere near what they would need to be for a console that requires an always-on internet connection.

so, they did consider it? when he says that they didn't think about it because too many countries have no robust internet it means they thought about it to come to this cunclusion
otherwise, why even talk about the countries without robust interent if they didn't consider it?

i think it's pretty clear, his message is ""if everyone would have good internet, why not?" and that will be also the case for microsoft. at least i hope so because i don't like that idea with my internet lol.

I think he means that they never considered it seriously. The internet being bad in many places was a roadblack at the very start of the "considering process" |
ok but he said that the main reason is the bad internet in some countries, not that sony is against this idea because of the consumers or whatever. so, people with good internet (most on this forum) can be happy that this isn't the case for everyone because otherwise we would probably have this with the ps4.
if sony wouldn't like the idea he would just say "no, we didn't consider this because we are against this idea" but he won't say this because we will maybe have this with the next next gen. there is no need to talk about the internet quality if the idea in general is not in your interest.
I'm sure Microsoft is gonna take the news badly. Seems like they dont have a buddy to spit into consumers faces, they will have to take the brunt of it themselves.
