Sounds like it's really only being used to prevent the second-hand market and piracy.
I guess most gamers will eventually cope with that.
Sidenote: Since the second-hand market will be instantly dead, there remains very little practical reason to still buy games on physical media, except for slow internet connections. So if customers are accepting this model, the Nextbox will most probably be the last generation to accept physical media.

Mass Effect 2 DLCs can only be played online. Never heeard a fuss about it. I'm against it all the way because I went on vacation to place where internet was not available and couldn't play "my" purchased good.
Like I said in the other thread I only believe rumors and speculation from anonymous internet sources.

Its about time they said something to put down those terrible rumors, They should have just waited until the official announcement in 2 weeks to reveal this info though.

they didnt say anyhting to the public. its an internal email that was leaked. I can't wait for the reveal myself
