Forums - General - nexus 4 vs iphone 5 which is the best??

My sister want to get a new phone and has been offer both of these phones from different companies, since I don't own a smart phone I can't tell her which is the best user friendly phone. the contracts for both phone is about the same but the iphone 5 has access to the LTE (3.9G) network while the nexus 4 use only the 3G she didn't provide me much other informations, so what do you guys think.

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

iPhone. LTE is awesome, and you get all the best Android stuff from Google anyway (and better versions, our Google Maps doesn't have ads).

I would go for the Iphone, but I hear a lot of good stuff about the Nexus. Just depends on what OS you prefer.

iPhone 5

No one is going to support the iPhone on this forum, or any forum for that matter.

Personally, I love the iPhone 5, she should go for it.

Whatever is cheapest.

Honestly there's really nothing in it App or performance-wise or in the general experience of the OSs. Anyone who tells you different merely has a pseudo-religious devotion to an electronic device. And why would you listen to anyone who worships a phone, or a phone OS? It's as bad as worshiping a console...

Personally I'm an ABA (Anything But Apple) because of the cult of Apple. But if the cult of Apple doesn't leave a bad taste in your mouth then the iPhone is a very good device, just like all the other high end smartphones.

What do you do when you have a genuinely objective choice between high quality devices? You make a cost-benefit analysis and go with the one that comes out best on that. I don't know anything about 4 (or 3.9)G LTE so that could be quite a big deal and could make all the difference in terms of choice. But iPhone 5 isn't the only 4G LTE phone available, so why has the choice come down to a 4G iPhone and a non-4G Nexus?

What bothers me the most with Android is how the performance of the phones suffer after a while. Unless you basically keep it as close as possible to what it was when you first purchased it. While the iPhone runs butter smooth at all time no matter what. At least, from my experience with both formats.
