Forums - Nintendo - Fans Hope to Bring Ni No Kuni to Nintendo Platforms

Still need to get this on PS3.

I guess the DS version could get ported to the 3DS.

Well, perhaps if they pull an Operation Rainfall all over again, they could achieve something!

Well keep hoping

I think they want the DS game to be ported to the 3DS

it says "wrath of the white witch", which is the PS3 version -  the DS version is called "shikkoku no madoushi" or "the jet-black mage"

I assumed people who were so interested in getting it would know there is a difference

It really should because Namco learned absolutely nothing from it.

They think their time and money is better spent making turds like Star trek than localising their games that are actually good.

Namco owns NiNo Kuni's rights? That could be...problematic o.O

I doubt it, Level 5 self-published it in Japan. Namco-Bandai only published it outside of Japan.

That's even worse. Can't we call Xseed to see if they could publish it?

Ah, okay....The PS3 version will never come to the 3DS, but I think the Namco representative was talking about the DS version on the 3DS (I haven´t looked at the facebook page)...which could happen !

Who would have thought that Project X Zone would make it over here ?

This isn't necessary. Nintendo fans are supporters of the "if you really like the game why don't you buy the WiiU console, when Bayonetta 2 releases?". Nintendo fans understand that if any Nintendo fan wants Ninokuni it is natural to buy a PS3 for it.

or a Japanese DS

Fixed.

If they are the same game, the DS and PS3 version, what are we talking about here? A re-release? Like watching Star Wars/Finding Nemo/Monsters Inc. in the same theater we saw it last time? This thread is talking about a port.

Depends on if they add stuff to it, I might buy it again even though I have the PS3 version if they add enough stuff to it, assuming they release a Wii U version that is.

I don't know the reason you quoted me. It seems you are saying that you'd rebuy the game if released for the WiiU with extra content, nothing to do with my post.

DS is region free, and I quoted you because I can.
