Any game after five years will be good.
Anything not kinect and we're good.

i would be fine with almost every game of that list because i like all the ips (but don't really want a new battletoads) but i hope for a conker, kart, perfect dark and "real" banjo game next gen.
A kart game and fight game I don't want... Sega's latest kart game was a lot of fun and I don't need a new one, Fighters are also don't for me, I hardly manage to spend more than ten hours into one..
A new platformer would be welcome and does not really matter if it is Banjo or Conker.. maybe Conker if they add multiplayer because Conker live and reloaded MP had some good ideas the execution was just not great..

By FPS do you meam something similar to perfect dark? Your list is similar to mine I'd say. Conker would top my list too. |
Yeah. I should have probably put on there as well a new Ip
1. New IP
2. New IP
3. New IP
4. New IP
5. New IP
I don't think games like killer instinct and battle toads will sell these days, and I don't think platformers will perform very well on the 360 or nextbox. So I think they've been putting the last few years they've been quiet in to good use and making something fresh. MS wouldn't keep a huge team like Rare sitting around not doing anything for years, they are obviously up to something (probably more than one game) and I hope/expect it is something fresh.
Yeah, Rare has lots of cool IPs sitting around. Blast Corps would be sick on next-gen.
Problem is, Rare doesn't have the old-school workers who made fun games. It's all about serious entertainment, guiding the player, having a smooth experience etc.
Rare's games were full of fun, humour, dodgy and silly things (just look at all the characters in Banjo and Conker. No voices but burping, etc.). That seems to be a no-go nowadays. Former Rare employees should get back together for a new studio with one great game. If they succeed, go on. If not, say bye bye to classic gaming

they are working on 3 games. And I think Killer Instict could do reasonably well. Mayb around 700k to 1.2m. Fighting games aren't as popular as they once were but some can do reasonably well if they are made well.
I want Rare...to start working on Nintendo´s handheld again... maybe a Banjo Kazooie remake to test the water or a Starfox Adventure port ?

possibility. MSFT allows Rare to work on Nintendo handhelds. All three Rare, MSFT, and Nintendo benifits out of it and it doesn't effect the Xbox at all. I think the last title that they made for the DS was Viva Pinata.
