I could bet good money that if Microsoft sold Rare to Nintendo, that Nintendo would put Retro and Rare together and they would make constant hits again under Retro leadership. Rare takes a certain level of leadership that i dont think Microsoft yet understands.

Hopefully not; the Xmas after Kinect launched, it dramatically died down in popularity. Truly wish that Microsoft doesn't emphasize on it this second time around.

I've stated that 100's of times.  Unfortunately we are on forums where people exagerate as much as possible to fit there agendas.  That and many people are misinformed about many subjects.

They've actually 2 Kinect games... The last one was released in 2011, so I wouldn't be super surprised if they actually has made a new hardcore IP to show us this year... I mean, they ain't done nothing the last 2 years... Something's up

They created Avatars and then made Kinect Sports.  Kinect Sports 2 was developed by BigPark studios.  Rare has 3 teams and have oddly been absent since Kinect Sports 1.  Although I believed they added some DLC for 1 and 2.  Not sure.  They have 1 title that is suppose to be a jaw dropping kinect game.  We dont know if controllers will be apart of it yet. We are unaware of the other 2 titles they are working on.  My guess is we will see the jaw dropping kinect game soon though.

I actually dont have a worry about ps4, its just price with them, i feel pretty confident they will deliver. But microsoft... not so sure

Why would you be afraid? Kinect 2.0 should take what we have in Kinect, and make it several times better.  Signifiant improvement in resolution, HD picture, and less lag.  Plus, it's rumored not to have a motor in it - so easier moutning. What's not to like?

If you don't like movement games, so be it.  But the voice navation and search is really convienant.

Some people just want to hate on Kinect because they want to hate on Kinect.  It's has become the new 'hate on waggle' from the Wii.



 

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.
