It's reviewing relatively well. If we consider it part of the hunter genre, it's only a few points behind the MonHun games (generally ~80 these days - most recent scored 79 on 3DS); 8 points higher than Gods Eater; loads higher than Ragnarok Odyssey/Lords of Arcana etc.

I won't be buying it any time soon, but that's not based on the review scores. Having played a couple of Monster Hunter games and plenty of Gods Eater Burst, the genre isn't really for me. I may pick it up later in the year when it's ~£15 if I'm looking for a new Vita game.

Hm, I am slightly surprised that this game isn't scoring higher. That doesn't mean it is a bad game at all, but I just would have thought that it would have been more well received by critics.
