For both versions combined?  That still feels a bit optimistic.  First week combined be lucky to break 100K and then I don't see much reason for a bump down the road.  I'd guess 550K lifetime, 300K on 360 and 250K on PS3.

Uff.

It was an alright trailer. I am sold on the game by this point; Insomniac have earned enough loyalty from me in the past that even if this turns out to be just another generic TPS, I can rely on the gameplay to keep me entertained.

It's just... uff. I don't want to rag on the game like 90% of GAF are doing, but it's just so frustrating because I know they're capable of more. Insomniac have shown time and time again that they've got it down in the gameplay department; that they can tell fantastic stories AND keep things entertaining and amusing. It looks like this game may only nail one of those aspects.

Like I said, I'll be buying it. Just... maybe not at full price, I think I can wait a couple of weeks and I don't see this staying at £40 for too long =/

Seems wise, I could easily see this being on sale for 50% off its initial MSRP within 8-10 weeks.

I wish Insomniac the best...maybe they can get a better Publisher next time....or back to Sony ?

Yes, this is a more reasonable perdiction. It even could have a hard time breaking 500K, especially if 1st week is only 100K.

Don't bank on a next time, the way the economy and videogames industry is. The norm now is that, your studio doesn't produce a hit, and your franchise doesn't have a champion to give it another shot, you are shut down.  MAYBE you personally land on your feet, but your team is likely broken up.  Do not bank on Insomniac EVER going back to Sony, but some people MIGHT get hired back by Sony.

That is the game.

As for Fuse... meh.... NOT going to speak bad against it, but I am not really in a buying mood.  Building up a cash reserve is more appealing personally to me.

I still hope that they will pull through, they (usually) make charming  and coulorful games, it would be sad to see them go...

It's like the RARE crash all over again sort-of.

>Make lots of successful games with antro characters.
>Sudden desire to make the next call of duty.
>Sales flop, studio shut down.
>Former boss sitting alone in his abandoned office in a drunken mess "I don't understand.... I thought EA would
protect us....shield us..... they said they LOVED us dammit!" :(
