I just know that Sony made its "eyetoy " look like Kinect instead of MS remodeling theirs to resemble that monocle with a speaker/mic.

And MS never created a killer app to compete with their competitors: Super Smash Bros, Mario Kart,Tomb Raider etc...

The ironic thing though is 90% of the people complaining about always online are people on internet forums.....who are constantly online.  Most of the people complaining have their Xboxs and PS3s hooked up to stable internet nearly all the time.

Now personally I hope the Next Xbox doesnt require an always online connection but who knows maybe the sheer amount of amazing things theyre adding to Xbox Live makes them require a connection. Thats my point is we dont know anything yet.  For all we know always online could be an incredible experience.  If you have a smartphone its always connected.  People dont complain about their phones.

that still means we need an internet connection to play. that's an even bigger problem in countries where the connection isn't that great.

Why do you so often recommend people to learn to read? If you want serious discussions you better keep a reasonable and objective way of arguing. Hinting people to their (potential) failures doesn't put you in the position of beinga better discussant. Your arguments do this neither.

Yes because it is more rationnal to judge the next Xbox (the one you have no clue about until MS annonce it officialy) based on all the rumors you listed.

Were you not on the internet (or gaming forums, to be exact) when the Wii came around? Seems like so, because that was quite the crap storm as well. People were preaching things they didn't even know about before it got released.
