Regarding the underlined, sorry, it's written down in my book as a full-positive. Better luck next time.

I see a subscription fee as a negative. If it makes you feel any better, the Gaikai features on the PS4 would also be half-positives. Great features but would most likely require a subscription fee.(plus a fast internet connection)

Different strokes for different folks. I don't see Gaikai as anything at all. I would never pay money for streaming backwards compatibility.

al this hate is the result of microsoft moving away from the core gamers. where was all the 360 hate from 07-10? there wasnt much, because the games were being pumped out. why was PS3 so hated on from 2006 right up until the slim re launch in 2009? because the system was lacking in quality software. its simply microsofts turn now.

I don't think it's unfounded at all. I think it's very much based in reality. While I believe it will be a lot 'BETTER' than what the Naysayers are expecting, it still will have some major hiccups. Starting with the 360 and it's game library towards the end of the generation and it's future potential game selection, Combined with negative rumors of things that sound mostly negative and it's primary competition actually doing and saying the right things (Sony)?

Only the biggest brightest of the Xbox fanboy crowd could try to act like that's no cause for concern. I fully expect it to be a worse system comparatively than the Xbox 360, with less games and less merit as a legitimate console. It's already taken all of the major Third party PS franchises, so the only battle it can realistically win is with fresh new games (Which with the lack of developers, I have always had my doubts on the quantity) and price.

I don't think it's any more ridiculous or unfounded than the things people lay Nintendo out for. It's just this is the story of the month, so it's fresher in everyone's mind.

The hate and confusion will subside at E3 when all three console companies have their full lineups on display for all to see.
