Forums - Gaming - 2K Also Bailing on E3

Rockstar is next, they never attend E3. GTA V may appear in Sony's or Microsoft's conference but please no more stupid timed exclusive dlc deals!

Xbox Series, PS5 and Switch (+ Many Retro Consoles)

2k wont have anything to show of note until 2014. Bioshock launched and they just got the rights to the WWE game. Its all NBA this year.

?

Rockstar hardly ever go to E3.

They weren't there last year either http://www.computerandvideogames.com/349583/rockstar-has-no-plans-for-e3/

They have publicly stated somewhere that they dislike the show, I think. As for 2K..they don't have shit to show.

Um...no. Rockstar makes enough money to publish their own games. 2k's biggest non-sports title of the year was Bioshock and thats done and over with. Its already established that Rockstar is beyond E3. They haven't been to E3 in years.

its clearly something they can show, and they dont really care to show it at E3, lowering e3's importance

I dont think anyone will notice they left unless you actually went to e3 and most won't!!!!

As always, in hindsight Nintendo will look like geniuses for ditching the big press conference. Everyone has to weigh their options and see which is the best way of getting their message and games out their, not just follow blindly what the other guys are doing or what might be expected.

I love My Wii U, and the potential it brings to gaming.

Um no. Its not that E3's importance is lowered, its because they dont do two year development cycles like all the other developers. They work until they believe their work becomes a quality product. The last GTA launched in 2008.....thats five years ago. The reason why they are beyond E3 is because they dont need to tease the game when they know its unfinished, so they just dont show up. I am sure Rockstar will make a surprise appearance to unveil their product at E3 since its nearly finished. Rockstar is one of those exempt developers who have the ability to be their own publisher.

They're obviously burying their heads in the sand.

They can only roll over and look up at giants like Activision.

WHERE IS MY KORORINPA 3

E3 hasn't been relevance in the past 3 years. Not much news get out its such a big unorganized event. I feel PAX does a better job then E3.

Don’t follow the hype, follow the games

Here a little quote I want for those to keep memorize in your head for this coming next gen.

I love that since Nintendo isn't going to E3, it's no longer relevant lol according to many, even when millions will be watching it this year

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.
