Its probably me ,but I just notice that for the pass three to four years, I played nothing but rated M games and they all feel the same. All I see is grey and brown areas and blood and gore everywhere. I'm normally not the type who get gross out by gore (coming from a guy who seem most of the final destination movies), but lately for some odd reason, I been seeing the Mature Rating and Blood and Gore as a gimmick lately as if you have to have that M sigh in order to get attention or sales which to a point I can understand, but its at that point in gaming that all games have to be mature. Anything that's rated E is always judge as a kids game or kiddy and I can understand that but adults play E games to. 

Perfect example: at the PS4 announce, the game Knack and Mn's project was bash and judge just becuase it's out of the norm. I'm no saying there going to be amazing, but don't judge just becuase you don't like the motion controls or if Knack give off a kiddy vive. 

Another example: Sly Cooper is seem as a kiddy/children series that adults won't enjoy. Even though (in my opinion) the Sly Cooper series tell a better story and give a unique experiences then most games this gen. again not saying its the best of everything or anything like that.

I'm running out of things to put down so if you want give me your thoughts, I just wanted to get this off my chest because each time a triple AAA mature rated game release, I always feel pressure by reviews and ads on getting it because its the game that been hype for so long. Gaming websites like IGN have ads of it everywhere, metacritic reviews etc. and for some reason, it came to the point where I don't feel like a gamer when I don't buy the big titles.When I do buy the triple A games, I usually end up selling them a month later. I feel judge when I buy a rated E game. I'm an inch close to just selling my consoles and quick gaming all together because I'm not having fun anymore, graphics up the wall, boring franchise, bitchy fanboys everywhere from to Nintendo fans to Sony fan to microsoft fans, PC brag off the wall and pressure everyone to buy a PC even though hardly no one can afford one or like dealing with PCs altogether. (I try gaming on a PC, it's a pain sometimes). I'm bored, I'm not even excited for E3. That's how bored I am though I still look foward to see Nintendo new approach to E3 conference because I do enjoy those Directs.

Anyway, these are my thoughts, what's yours. Your free to express your opinion.

Somewhat but I haven't felt that pressure to buy recently at all. Bioshock I just watched the story because I honestly hate the gameplay of those games. Yet a game like Sly which gets almost no press (partly Sony's fault) is one of the best titles for me this gen. I feel like Tomb Raider is gonna be very formulaic which is why I'm holding off on buying until I get it for under $30.

Yeah, sort of piss of my self for selling the Sly HD collection. I feel these big budget games are going to change. Look how the latest Gear of War and God of War turn out. 

i honestly dont, i never stay on the same formula when it comes to games, the type of games i played are different from last gen and the gen before it. this is why i prefer sony and playstation, they always offer new games and new experiences. a lot of their games try to tackle new things and give new experiences. there are a lot of interesting games that are coming out that seem unique. a bird story is one of them and im anticipating that tittle very much

Yeah I see where your coming at, I 'm like that to with Nintendo. though a bit different with me. I didn't mind playing Nintendo exclusive, my only issue is that they never tend to evolve their franchise. Metroid Other M may have not been the best ,but it wasn't a bad game I like the direction it made for the series, Luigi Mansion 2 feel like a new fresh of air thanks to the developers (Next Level Games), and Kid Icarus Uprising is a classic in my view. 

Plus, I tend to game more on my 3DS then my home consoles.

Any formula can be twisted into refreshing ways while being the same, if developers are creative enough. So no, I don't grew tired of it. I also play with different genres, though.

Don't feel bad about buy those E rated games. I enjoyed Rayman Origins more than I did Assassin's Creed: Revelations.

P.S I still have my copy of the Sly Collection, Jak and Daxter Collection and Ratchet and Clank Collection.

The same formula gets old but it's got nothing to do whether a game is rated mature or it's a game for children.
