So much fuss for a Wii U version that'll sell maybe a few hundred thousand tops, lol. What's Black Ops 2 on Wii U at?

Nintendo fans make a big fuss on the internet about having things like Black Ops2, GTA, Assassin's Creed, etc. but don't bother to buy the games when they actually do come out.

Pathetic post is pathetic post. don't you have anything better to do?

Seriously man, what is the purpose of this post? Even if the game makes only a hundred Wii U owners happy, isn't that good news? I know this is a site about sales, but try to show some solidarity for your fellow video game fans.

pc/ps4 is all i care about... please dont make me buy it on current gen systems rockstar!!!!!

if I was Nintendo I would have paid a pretty sum to get this on the wii U. But I am happy they decided to make it happen with out bribery.

Given the public campaigning Reggie did, I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo offered them some sort of incentive.

i wouldn't be surprise if nintendo is developing the wii u version

What's NST been up to lately?

I'm wondering this too. I think I read somewhere that the team (NST) was created to make content for the western audience, but as far as I know the last game they made for the western audience was Metroid Prime hunters. Since then they have been making Mario vs. donkey kong, they are probably making the new one too, but I'm wondering if they might have something big under their rooftops.

If true I will buy it for the PS4, if not I will wait for the complete edition with all the DLCs for PS3 (if by the time it is released, I am interested in the game).

Compared to its userbase, its sold just fine. Can't expect millions out of  a sub-3m userbase sir.

They are indeed working on the new Mario vs Donkey Kong.   They also handle a lot of other eShop titles and VC work.  Their last big home console retail title was 1080 Avalanche for GC 10 years ago.   I don't think they're set up now for big titles or even ports of big titles.

like GTA 4 killed the Wii.. GTA 5 will kill the WiiU

I think there was a rumour a few months ago that the creator of Sonic had started in NST. Can't remeber if it was fake though. Either way Nintendo needs a studio other than Retro to make western aiming games, so it's really sad if they don't start making bigger games soon. Although their probably "lost."

Odd rumor given that Yuji Naka created Sonic in 1991 and NST wasn't even established until 1998.  I agree they need another western studio.    Every generation, they seem to partner or buy a new studio (Rare, Factor 5, Silicon Knights, Retro, Monolith).  So hopefully that trend continues and they pick up another real soon.

But even with that in mind, I doubt they'd handle a port of a game like GTAV.  That would either be handled internally at Rockstar or farmed out to a major outsourcing studio.
