Damn! i wish i had your time! im lucky to finsih with a game before i move on to the next.  i hope to have my first plat trophy before the ps4 maybe 2.

I'm with 36 to. I would like to have at least 50 platinum trophys whem PS4 arrives.

Yup. Some examples came to mind:

Trine 2: I had the Platinum before I had finished the game.
The Walking Dead: Platinum for playing the story, really.

And many others.

Other day I completed 1,000 online fights in Dead or Alive 5 and earned a trophy for it without noticing it, so it was absolutely not a grind for me. Street Fighter IV had a trophy for 500 online fights and I overshot it by over 4k online matches.

I currently have 14 platinum trophies, so I guess 18 to 20 platinum trophies.

Meh I play a lot of games to what I consider the fullest extent. Some give it to you for free like AC 2 and Skyrim, while some like Disgaea 3 give u 4% in a playthrough.

Meh I play a lot of games to what I consider the fullest extent. Some give it to you for free like AC 2 and Skyrim, while some like Disgaea 3 give u 4% in a playthrough.

Disgaea 3 is an exception, since trophies were patched into the game after its release, and Nippon Ichi didn't want people to have to go through the story to get story-based trophies, so they didn't add any of those in.

My backlog is way too big for me to spend time going after platinums. Even in games I did replay, like Uncharted 2 (normal, hard, crushing), there's still artifacts I missed and some weapons I didn't kill enough people with.

I find it a bit hard to believe someone actually got +100 trophies, but I guess there's more impossible feats out there.

Same here! Too many great games out there to spend so muchg time doing trivial things. I was actually trying for platinum in Sonic Generations but eventually gave up cause there were other games I wanted to play. Also, there can be things within the game I'd rather be doing too, like playing online In Uncharted over replaying the story mode a buncha times.

I have 8 and i don't really try for platinums unless i really enjoy the game, i might have 10 by PS4
