You do. I think you don't have to pay anything until the goal is met, regardless.

Don't take my word for it though, I'd check the Kickstarter FAQ's before funding if you were thinking about it. I haven't funded any projects myself so I'm not 100% on it.

There's also the rumor that Nintendo have been giving away free dev kits to small developers. Really good news if this trend continues. |
True that indie games are great to have but Wii U is still behind Linux in terms of indie support.

What does Linux has to do with with this? Going by Ubuntu only, the install base is around 20 million (2011). In 2009 it was 13 million, by this time Linux (specifically Ubuntu) already had a bigger install base than the Wii U currently has, so of course is going to have more indie support.

A thread isn't official until someone sticks their head in and compares a console to a PC. We got our mandatory pointless comparison now, so we're good.
This game better come to 360/PS3/PS4 because Road Rash is one of my favourite games from my childhood.

The point was that the third most popular PC operating system behind Windows & OSX, that has been a joke when it comes to gaming is still getting more support then a new Nintendo console which is designed for games.

And you still haven't answered or acknowledged any of the bolded comment above. Your post is so far from the OT of the thread that you would have been better off saying you replied to the wrong one by accident.
