Is this one set before the events on the avengers? Their making it out to be the first time Thor returns to earth.

Never gave a shit about Marvel movies,never will. This trailer just drives that opinion home for me.

Thor was painfully boring and this doesn't look much better. Ever since Iron man 2, the avenger heroes have sucked. At least Wolverine looks bad ass.

It's a trailer like this that convinces me that Spider Man being owned by Sony is a good thing.

imo the first Thor movie was incredibly dull and Thor as a character was bland during the Avengers movie aswell - I most certainly won't watch this one

More interested in Iron Man 3 and Wolverine, but I will see this eventually too.

Be that as it may, but Thor was incredibly popular with the women and with the children. I recall kids playing with Thor figurines in the mall around the time of the movie.

ok ? *shrugs* lots of things I don't enjoy are popular, but based on my experience with this franchise it just isn't worth my time

It was a very poorly done trailer. It tells you nothing of what the movie is about. It was essentially 'Thor is back' and that's it, which really isn't enough for a movie like Thor. The movie is over a half a year away yet, though, so hopefully the marketing will get better during that time.
