the only one I played in the series was 2, so I can't really say. It is definitely fun to play and just completely mindless chaos especially with 4 players. I have about 495-500 of the green orbs. I finally just gave up on finding the last 5 or so.

I really do hope MS releases a Crackdown 3. Just needs some changes here and there like a new locations, local co-op, and updated graphics, and a bigger areas to explore.

If you never played the first one then that is great news. Everything will be new for you.

To me the second one was basically like COD2012 vs COD2013 with no kill streak changes.

Be sure to check out the first one if you get the chance. Crackdown 2 has more online/co-op features but overall I think the original is better in virtually every way. One of the more underrated gems of this gen.

As you all can tell I'm new here. Been a lurker for a longgggg time though. I just started playing the 1st and its fun so far. Addictive trying to get these orbs lol. Having fun with it.

I was a lurker for a while also, glad to see you posting. I think Crackdown is one of the few collect a thon games that I genuinely have fun with trying to get everything.
