the only one I played in the series was 2, so I can't really say. It is definitely fun to play and just completely mindless chaos especially with 4 players. I have about 495-500 of the green orbs. I finally just gave up on finding the last 5 or so.
I really do hope MS releases a Crackdown 3. Just needs some changes here and there like a new locations, local co-op, and updated graphics, and a bigger areas to explore.
