It still works, so there's no need to replace.

No. I have a iPod Touch. I don't really care to call people where ever I am. I can chat with them on AIM or Skype etc when I can. And I bought a GPS receiver for it. And it's my music/video player. All I really needed. Could always just by a hotspot and just pay a cheap non contract monthly fee, if I'd need to change.

you could also as an option use something like the  Peel520, to make it into a full smarphone if you wanted to , i have done this many times for clients its very easy to do,

http://www.peel520.net/

hell even virgin mobile offered the Peel 3200 for people to get

http://www.amazon.com/Peel-3200-Touch-Virgin-Mobile/dp/B004WSK2N6

but there is a few thing's that you would need to know about this one, because it like other's you have to make sure its for your ipod touch model

Lumia 920, it's near perfect.

I guess I'm one of 3 BlackBerry users here.

I got the BlackBerry Z10 just over 2 months ago and absolutely love it.

iPhone 5 ;O

Does the screen size feel that diff/better compared to the 4?

It does make a difference and it is very noticeable. I used my iPhone 4 for well over 2 years and when it changed to the iPhone 5 it felt very different. When I looked at my gf's older ipod touch 3g the screen looked sort of squished. Now she has the newest ipod touch which has the same screen as the iPhone 5. The extra screen size is useful for apps that have been updated to take advantage of the extra screen real estate.

Alright thats good to know. I've been feeling that my 4s screens seems kind of small, but when I briefly compared it to my friends 5, it didn't seem all that different. I guess I really need to actually use it to see the diff.

I own an iPhone 3GS for work purposes and use it for nearly nothing outside of work (outside work activity is pretty much just texting people occasionally). I make a point to not bring my phone with me when I go out to eat or to go shopping because I generally dislike it. (I feel this way about all cellphones).
