Gotta love off TV play. Surfing the Web. Watching the NFL draft, and DLing the update.

started downloading at 8:57 pm. Download completed at 9:31 pm. It took 34 minutes for me.

what man cant i play a game or something during this update? i wanted to watch netflix but im stuck on the screen and it says 3;19 remaining smh!

So, the Wii U is finally the console it should have been from a start? I knew Nintendo would not abandon it's fans :D

That's odd. it allowed me to play while it downloaded in the background. But i couldn't play while it installed.

flashing red light, with my injustice disc inside....I think the system bricked. Should have known something was wrong when the update got stuck with "4 mins to go", for like 10 minutes. Then after the update, was taking almost 20 seconds from settings back to home. smfh

Now I'm nervous. My update is installing. *crosses fingers*

I don't understand the logic here... unless you just want to antagonize people then I get it.

i unplugged everything for 15 min, now luckily its booting again.  Also unplugged my external hdd, just to compare with nintendo's demo comparison...still, very slow for me, 18 seconds from settings to home. I think i have a faulty console !

I remember some people complaining about the slow OS and well, that's understandable, but some were taking it as something that could not be fixed.

I always knew that Nintendo would fix it with a simple system update.
