Absolutely stunning series! Watch "The Legend of Korra" too, it might have some flaws (a weak middle part) due to some issues behind the scenes, but the story and animations are STUNNING. It honestly looks better than any actual anime I've seen so far and can easily compete with some animation movies with the same style^^

I saw Korra, it was amazing.  I'll say though, it just couldn't compete with Air Bender for various reasons.  I actually don't think the entire series can (Seriously, Ang's story was effed up... in the most amazing kind of way).  Plus I was reading each season of Korra was going to be self contained, it just can't compete on Ang's scale like that (Or maybe it'll be better).

Yeah, I was worried; I thought it wouldn't get a bluray release.  I was really considering getting it off of iTunes or Zune (PSN for some reason doesn't have it in Canada).  But I didn't like the idea of being locked to apple devices or to PC/Xbox (I swear Zune videos don't run on any portable other than Windows Phones).

I remember watching Season 1 with my kids when it first came out and being blown away. Then for some reason somewhere along the line towards the end of Season 2 we fell off. I'm glad to see it's on Netflix and this thread has inspired me to watch the rest. It really is an excellent show, it does so many things right.

I also thought you were talking about the movie (since this is in the movie discussions) and I came here to flame that piece of shit. As was mentioned above, stay as far away from the movie as you can. I remember being so excited for it and thinking there was no way they were going to fuck it up. Well, they did.

I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.

Avatar is a great series, one of the best. Stay away from the movie.

Yeah I was looking as to where to put this thread in.  I was like "T.V. Shows, where are you... movies?  Close enough"  But I'm glad this inspired you to watch it.  The show really kicks it into gear in the second season, especially the finale!

indeed epic series.

The legend of korra isn't that good as the last airbender. But a fan of the series will love it

My most favorite series ever! The world they created is unbelievably awesome. Love the setting and characters. Korra is fantastic and looks absolutely beautiful. Waiting patiently for book 2!
